Thanks very much for a fantastic evening’s entertainment at the Mick Jagger Centre. I thought you performed the songs with great skill and heart. Loved the synths on Cinema Show (so much like the 76-77 live Genesis) and the pair of “And Then There Were Three” tracks in particular - I’ve always thought it an underrated album in their catalogue and it was good to see those treasures dusted off. You were really on fire during “The Lady Lies”. The whole show was superb.
Saw you on Saturday night at The Mick Jagger Centre, excellent night, thank you all very much. I lived through that musical period in my early twenties and saw Genesis a few times but that was a long time ago and it is really good to hear the material again. What I found great is you were not trying to be Genesis, but playing their music like an orchestra playing Beethoven.
Absolutely did it, wonderful doesn't even cover it...thank you guys (at both ends of the room) for a very very special evening.. never thought I would hear anything again live of this quality and Genesis inspiration, take a bow....and major thanks to our host for bringing you to the Northcourt. Saw Steve Hackett's Genesis show in Oxford in 2017 with a pal who's no longer with us, ...I'm so upset that he wasn't there last night to enjoy the quality too.
Saw you for the first time recently in Hastings. There were a lot of pissed-up old rockers in but it was a brilliant night. I'd recommend anybody to go see you guys. Really great to see a band keeping classic music alive and treating the pieces like standards without all that trying to look like the originals b******s. It's about the music. I saw Genesis quite a few times but I'm not sure I ever saw them play such a thoughtfully selected and varied set of songs. Come back down south soon....!
Just wanted to say I was blown away by how good you were last night in Aylesbury! First tribute band I've ever seen so wasn't sure what to expect. Took my dad (who had been to the 1978 Knebworth gig himself...before I was born!). He LOVED you as did I! I knew you were going to have to be fantastic musicians to play Genesis but, you were all PHENOMENAL! Never heard anything like it! More gigs in Buckinghamshire please! And BOURNEMOUTH so I can take my mum who went to the same gig in 78! Thank you, you were incredible. ps Ripples and Los Endos were my favourite!
So, Los Endos? I'd never heard of them. I've seen a similar world-renown tribute band a couple of times- the effect on the mind-bank is the same- you travel back to days when long-hair, flares and one or two tee-shirts were daily attire. The first notes of 'Can Utility and the Coastliner's' immediately convinced me that this band were high-calibre die-hards - the sound was identical!
What a show , I closed my eyes and it sounded just like Genesis , absolutely brilliant. This is our second time we have been to see you in Torquay and we bought along some friends also die hard fans they loved it ,looking forward to seeing you again next year !
I saw Genesis in early 1973 at the Greyhound in Croydon. Your show fully does them justice. The extended numbers are wonderful, the sound is fantastic (been to too many gigs where the sound kills the ears), and the lighting adds to the dark effect of so much Genesis music. Thank you.
We were at your Martlets gig last night. What a fantastic evening. Thank you so much. Cinema Show knocked my socks off. Awesome band. Love n much appreciation
So on Saturday I took my Genesis-loving husband Steve to Tivoli Wimborne to see Los Endos Ultimate Genesis for a birthday treat. I hate Genesis! Or so I thought - I'm a convert!! I hadn't heard the early stuff - wow. And you guys are amazing - sooo tight, terrific playing. Thank you for a fab fab evening - and see you next time
I have seen Genesis tribute bands before, but this one tops the lot. Superb show guys, thoroughly recommended, can't wait to catch you next time.
Wow, what a show last night. My second time seeing you in Wimborne, and I'll just have to get on the road to catch you somewhere else. Great set - and amazing that I finally got to hear The Cinema Show played in front of me. Really got me, real tears and all that. Thank you for keeping this music alive, these songs mean a great deal to me.
Absolutely fantastic gig this evening. Cinema Show brought a tear to my eye and Suppers Ready was truly amazing. Keep up the good work guys
U guys r so good. When i play genesis i visualise u guys Now ive seen u guys play
What a great concert! Loved it all but especially Cinema Show, Supper's Ready, White Mountain & surprise track of the night, Seven Stones (awesome!). Go see!
You guys are so very good - a joy to hear and see you clearly having a fantastic time too! (much better than The Musical Box too wink emoticon)
Having seen you a few times I can honestly say that was the best show I've seen you do. I know you had difficulties pre-show with the sound, but the mix was excellent! Each instrument and voice was clearly distinguishable - it could make for a superb live CD. You all did a great job, but special nods to Jack, successfully battling his sore throat, and Stu for getting the mix perfect.
Our 12 year old daughter, youngest in the audience lol, enjoyed the progressive rock experience. Much better live than listening to her Dad's ol car music. Hehe.
just had to email you. Having seen you for the first time at the Theatre Royal in Lincoln on Saturday 28 June 2014 I cannot tell you how amazing and brilliant you were!! The whole concert was thrilling from beginning to end and I was blown away by the whole show. I saw Genesis in the 1980’s but you guys totally recaptured everything and more. I did not want the evening to end and I am still in awe of it now. Thank you for a magnificent evening of music! First class!! J
PS the old stuff is the best!
Just watched the burgess hill gig! Wow that was unbelievably good! You were all fantastic. Took me back to knebworth '78. Cant wait for 2016 trick of tail tour. My mate will be over from france no messing. Congrats and thanks!!!
Hi guys having watched you on Sat night just gone in sunny Torquay , I must say as a good old die hard Genesis fan my brother and I were blown away with the performance , you are all a credit to to the real deal and if this is as near as we can get to watching them I would recommend that any Genesis fan comes to one of your shows , don't leave it to long before you return , well done guys.
Saw you for the first time at Hornchurch last night. Only one word says it all . . . brilliant! I could have sat through another three hours. Superb musicians, cannot wait for the next time.
Just back from the gig in Burgess Hill. I am beyond speech...that was note perfect and mesmerising. Close enough (front row no less!) to just bathe in the musicianship of everyone involved. Thank you. I'll definitely be back!
